Initiated in 2006 PRERNA-The Emancipation is prepared to launch into its 17th venture, with increased fervour and boundless energy with the sole purpose of drawing inspiration from the differently abled and to provide them a platform of opportunities to showcase their calibre. After two years of conducting the event online, Team PRERNA is elated to announce its return to the beloved offline format.
PRERNA has received patronage from UNESCO for a remarkable five times. PRERNA has also been recognised by the Indian Paralympic Committee, the Government of Gujarat, and Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, as well as THESPA, Ahmedabad's association for physically challenged people, organising more than 40 events for differently abled participants and 10 visitors events every year with a footfall of about 12000 in previous years.
Under the auspices of the "DA WELFARE" initiative, PRERNA also strives to improve their quality of life by providing them with equipments for both their support and upliftment. PRERNA also conducts a donation drive known as “AAGHAZ” every year for the underprivileged section of the society by donating clothes, books, and other essential items.
